Image Submission to Website updated 11/12/2005 1. Notify website coordinator A reserved space will be created for the artist on the website 2. Get your Artwork to Digital format David Pan can assist artists converting images to digital format for submission to site. A flatbed scanner is available at the sitter’s desk. Check around with photography establishments and see what services are available to convert slides to digital image. Digital images must be in "jpeg format" Dimensions are 450 pixels high with resolution 72 DPI. File names should include reference to the piece “beautifulsunset.jpg” Images can provided on a digital storing device (i.e Jump drives, CD-Roms, or Zip disks,) and given to the website coordinator. You can also load your images on the gallery computer. Create an artist folder on C drive of computer in a directory with your name. Another alternative is to e-mail website coordinator. word file or website submission form, please include the following information
that you wish to provide. 3. Pay website fee 20$ initial fee to the gallery and obtain receipt Once payment is received or confirmed images will immediately be posted to site. Remember you must be an active* member of the gallery to participate in the website. *An active member is an artist who hangs at least 3 times per year and/or makes a significant contribution to the gallery in either volunteer time or other effort that furthers the mission of the gallery. However, eligibility can be determined in a case-by-case basis and final authority rests in the discretion of the website coordinator and/or gallery board of directors. |
