The American Association of Zoo Keepers - Puget Sound Chapter (AAZK) will host an animal art show to help benefit the 2009 AAZK-International Congress of Zookeeping conference at Art/Not Terminal Gallery. The artwork, approximately 20 pieces, has been created by Woodland Park Zoo's animals, primarily elephants, and orangutans. Inked animal footprints will also be displayed and for sale. This marks the first-ever non-human art show in Seattle with a wine and cheese reception opening. Zookeepers representing the animal artists will be in attendance.

Both of these paintings below are by Towan, who's one of Woodland Park Zoo's orangutans.
