You may already know what’s at stake: the continuation of the only art gallery in Seattle and beyond that is open to every artist no matter who they are or what they create. Every month new artists of all levels of training, backgrounds and histories, artistic approaches, and career goals are welcomed without question into the A/NT family. Please help this 40 year tradition continue.

The Frye Apartments is nothing like Seattle Center. There are new challenges and opportunities for growth. Surrounded by a community of some of Seattle’s finest cooperative and for-profit galleries, A/NT is striving to leverage the power of community to attract new and larger audiences to the area.

The Frye Apartments is low-income housing. The block attracts people who live on the street seeking company, shelter, and often to the dismay of others, illegal drugs. We are building a strong relationship with Low Income Housing Institute (LIHI), our landlord, and residents of the building to provide programs for them and the neighborhood’s unhoused population. We are also working to make the gallery a safe, comfortable place for all who work and visit here.
